Assessment 3

This term in mpi104 we have been working with blogging, flickring, working with websites and RSS feeds and deliciousing.  Our first assessment was working with blogger, flickr, gmail and delicious. We had to create accounts on each of  these sites and work towards making them better and adding content.

After break we came back and started on our second assessment. Our second assessment was working with RSS feeds and creating internet sites in iweb. We all created Websites that we handed into matt barron in class and explained what our websites were on. We were marked on:

User has created a website which has been uploaded to csusap webspace.
 Website demonstrates at least that the student has customised a template
changing colours, fonts, pictures, content, etc.
 Website includes an RSS feed subscription of their blog
 Website has a page which generates an RSS feed
 Website includes a counter
 Your Website consists of at least 3 pages with navigation links including a
“home button” on each page linking back to the front page.
 Website includes a link to your blog
 Website includes a link to your Flickr account
 Website includes a link to your Del.icio.us account

since these last two assignments we have been constantly working with our internet pages and blogger , flickr and delicious pages and getting all of the work for assessment 3 done to hand into Matt Barron today.

Did you hear about the guy that lost his left arm and leg in a car crash? Well he’s all right now.

Every night, Harold would go down to the liquor store, get a six pack, bring it home, and drink it while he watched TV. One night, as he finished his last beer, the doorbell rang. He stumbled to the door and found a six-foot cockroach standing there. The bug grabbed him by the collar and threw him across the room, and left.

The next night, after he finished his 3th beer, the doorbell rang.

He walked slowly to the door and found the same six-foot cockroach standing there. The big bug punched him in the stomach, then left.

The next night, after he finished his 1st beer, the doorbell rang again. The same six-foot cockroach was standing there. This time he was kneed in the groin and hit behind the ear as he doubled over in pain. Then the big bug left.

The fourth night Harold didn't drink at all. The doorbell rang. The cockroach was standing there. The bug beat the snot out of Harold and left him in a heap on the living room floor.

The following day, Harold went to see his doctor. He explained events of the preceding four nights. "

" What can I do? " he pleaded.

" Not much " he doctor replied. " There's just a nasty bug going around."

My Website

Hey i just finished my website on iweb and i am quite happy with it. My website is all based around the UFC and mixed martial arts. I did my website on this because it is what interests me and was what i found easy to put down information about. I have five pages on my website. The home page which shows who has knocked out who in the light heavyweight division. I have a photo page that just has some photos of fighters i like and the damage that they have done to some of their opponents. I have a video page that i have named my highlights page. This has several videos of fighters i like and their highlights. I also have a blog page which i have changed to a up coming page this is where i have put all of the recent pay-per-view fight nights and written about them and put the UFC trailers up and some highlights. And finally i have dedicated an entire page to Arianny Celeste who is the beautiful UFC Octagon Girl. This page talks about her career and what she has modeled for. It also has some very nice pictures and videos :p enjoy

Whats going on?? Im just doing my website for MPI and remembered that i haven't blogged for a while :s i better start making a habit of it from now on i thought. And thats why im blogging right now. oh and im creating my website on iweb

Assessment 1

What we have done in MPI104.
MPI104 is the most awsome class ever with Matt Barron as our teacher who is the most loving kindest teacher ever.. Just thought id start with that. The first thing in MPI104 that we did was create a new gmail account. Gmail is pretty awsome. We also had to subscribe to a google calender. In the calender i schedualed in the due date for this assignment and phils lecture on 2D animation tomorrow. The next thing the we did in this cource was create a blogger account. Blogger is pretty awsome too. We had to create links, update our profile, upload pictures, experiment with the templates, fonts and colours. We had to put up a photo of ourselves, comment on flickr, make sure our posts have titles, our blogs have descriptions, add elements, write about del.icio.us on a post and comment on two peoples posts. We needed to have a minimum of 5 posts and minimum of 3 links.
We then had to make a flickr account. We needed to upload a minimum of 4 pictures, title our photos, make sure they have descriptions, creat sets, join a group, add some photos to favourites and comment on other peoples accounts.
Then we had to create a delicious account with a minimum of 4 bookmarks. Our bookmarks needed descriptions, tags, bundled tags and bookmark another class members blog. We needed to bookmark our blogger and flickr homepages and create a network and we had to make sure that we kept using Delicious in our workflows. Then we had to write this post and link it to Matt Barron. We also have to write him links to our flickr, delicious, blogger and our emails to him in gmail. :D xoxo
